Natural Beauty is the story of June Hardwick, a young woman struggling with her self image. Like many African-American women, June has to try to balance a professional look with her personal preferences regarding her appearence. After a lifetime of conforming June decides to make a change. Everyone in her life, except a free spirited artist she meets, tries to persuade June to remain conservative.
